This is a common gripe. In many instances, the fat lost can be simply replaced by lean mass and the weight scales may not show this. Don’t forget that the weight scales show weight lost or gained. They do not give any indication of how much of the weight lost was fat, water or muscle. Indeed, shedding that much amount of fat and gaining lean tissue instead is a fabulous start. This will facilitate increased rates of metabolism and allows you to eat more. Further, you will lose inches off your waist. That’s what weight loss is all about. So cheer up!
