I Really Want To Lose Weight But I Travel A Lot. What Should I Do?

As far as exercising goes, I have the solution: do body weight workouts that don’t require any equipment. You can do push ups, squats, lunges, mountain climbers, jumps and jumping jacks for example, all in the privacy of your hotel room. Work in some stationary running and you can even do intervals! The most important thing to do is make up your mind that you’re going to exercise while you’re on the way.

Food is a little trickier. If you are traveling by car, you can package health snacks and meals in plastic bags so you’re not caught somewhere away from healthy food. When staying at the hotel, look to see if there is a health food store in the area. If you can’t find one and have to go to a restaurant, stick with grilled chicken, plain salads, and whatever you can find that is low in fat and high in nutrition.
